Rakhi Sawant for PETA ad

Rakhi Sawant, who is presently hosting the television show Rakhi Ka Insaaf, stripped down to a tiger striped bikini for the new ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

In the ad, Rakhi wears a tigress bikini and body paint. She’s seen whipping two circus guys. The punchline says: Exotic animals belong in the wild, not in the circus.

Talking about the ad, Rakhi said: “Animals in circuses are beaten and denied everything that is important to them for their whole lifetime - all for a few cheap tricks. My plea to parents is that if your kids love animals, the last place you should take them is the circus.”

Bollywood new entrant Ali Zafar recently rescued Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif from a major accident at Nabha near here in this district during shooting of romantic comedy Meray Brother Ki Dulhan(MBKD).

According to reports, Ali Zafar jumped in to save Katrina when her hair got stuck in a pedestal fan on the set. Ali’s heroic act prevented Katrina from losing her hair and the accident would have been more serious.
Ali however got minor bruises on his arm while saving Kaif, said eyewitnesses. Spot boy Raju was also injured in this accident as his hand was also tuck in the fan, said reports.

Mallika Sherawat recently visited the Mannarashala Nagaraja temple

In connection with the release of her Indo-US production venture Hisss, in which she plays a snake woman, popular model and actress Mallika Sherawat recently visited the Mannarashala Nagaraja temple, Harippad in Alleppy district (Kerala).

She reached the temple at around 12.50 p.m., wearing a Kerala sari, malli poo (jasmine flowers) and traditional ornaments. A pure vegetarian, the actress later enjoyed the Kerala sadhya. Mallika landed at the Thiruvananthapuram airport in the morning and drove down to the temple.

"I am a Malayalee at heart. I like Kerala very much and I have bought a nice home in Kerala," she later said. Directed by Hollywood filmmaker Jennifer Chambers Lynch with Irrfan Khan, Jeff Douchette, Divya Dutta and Raman Trikha in important roles, Hisss will hit theatres on October 22 in North India and one week later in Kerala. The film is dubbed in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam by Sri Tirumalai Tirupati Venkateswara Films.
